Marie Dembowski School of Education and the Center for Dyslexia Studies at Fairleigh Dickinson University
Marie Dembowski, MA, MAT, is a lifelong learner and veteran educator with certifications as a K-8 teacher, special education teacher, reading specialist, supervisor, Orton Gillingham Teacher and Teacher Trainer, and Dyslexia Specialist. Marie serves as an adjunct professor, teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses for the School of Education and the Center for Dyslexia Studies at Fairleigh Dickinson University on their Metropolitan campus in Teaneck, New Jersey. She is a reading consultant for Bergen County Special Services, working with teachers and students in non-public schools. She is a teacher-author on Teachers Pay Teachers and works with students, and families of students with disabilities through her private practice, The OG Advantage, LLC. Marie is a doctoral candidate with a research focus on the Science of Reading at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
